Wet Rubbing Fastness Improving Agent WF-801

Original wet rubbing fastness improving agent is poor for deep dyeing, especially for dark black, bright red, and turquoise blue. Our company has developed an environment-friendly wet rubbing fastness improving agent, WF-801, to enhance the fastness grades.

Main Composition

• Special water-based polyurethane.

General Properties

• Appearance: Light yellow to yellow liquid (darker as time goes)
• Ionicity: Weakly cationic
• pH: 3.5 ± 0.5
• Solubility: Easily soluble in normal water in any proportion at room temperature

Properties and Fields of Application

• Free of formaldehyde and APEO, complies with EU OEKO-TEX Standard 100 requirements.
• Use For fixing after cellulose fibers dyeing. Improves wet rubbing fastness by more than 2 grades, achieving above Grade 4.
• Easy operation for using by direct dilution.
• Soft hand feeling, no influence on light fastness, and resistant to washing.

Application

Based on different kinds and concentrations of dyes, as well as the kind and pattern of treated fabric:

Exhaust (Washing Only)

• WF-801: 2-4% (O.W.F) (Adjust based on color)
• Bath Ratio: 1:10–20
• Process: Dyed fabrics (pH ≤ 7) → Dip at 40℃ × 20–30 min → Dry

Padding

• WF-801: 30–50 g/L
• Process: Dyed fabrics (pH ≤ 7) → One dip & pad with water retention 80–85% → Dry

Notice

• Prepared solution should be used immediately and make sure the working liquid at approx. -25-40℃.
• Please test before using. Please clean up the alkali (pH less than 7), salt and soaping agent of the fabric beforeusing wet rubbing fastness improving agent WF-801
• Please clear away foaming or groove and change the working liquid because it will have a lot of foam when it use for a long time.
• Make sure pH at 5-6 as possible.

Packing and Storage

• Packing: 125 kgs, 200 kgs plastic drum, and IBC drum.
• Storage: Keep cool and dry, up to 6 months in a sealed container at room temperature.
