SMOOTH HYDROPHILIC SILICONE OIL ZY8280

Description

ZY8280 is a quaternary ammonium salt modified linear silicone copolymer with repetitive block structure. It could provide fabrics with good fluffy, smooth, and hydrophilic properties. ZY8280 is particularly suitable for padding application, exhibiting outstanding emulsion stability, delivering full benefits to the end user.

Features

• Excellent fluffy, elastic, and plump hand feeling
• Excellent washing resistance and hygroscopicity

• Good color repairability and yellowing resistance, with little effect on fabric yellowing and color shade
• Suitable for hand finishing of cotton and T/C blended fabrics

Application

Emulsification Process Example with 30% silicone oil as example

• ZY8280: 300kg
• Emulsifier: 100kg (T0-5: 50kg, T0-7: 50kg)
• Glacial Acetic Acid (100%): 2kg
• Water: 598kg

Procedure:

1. Add 300kg of ZY8280 and 100kg emulsifier, followed by 2kg acetic acid and 50kg water.
2. Stir thoroughly and start a high-speed dispersion machine.
3. Slowly add the remaining water until completely dissolved into a milky white liquid.

Dosage (Diluted ZY-8280)

• Dipping Process: 3~5% (o.w.f)
• Padding Process: 30~50 g/L

• 120kg plastic barrel or 1000kg IBC drum
• Shelf life: 12 months
